Angel of Fire

I was surfing around the internet and look what I stumbled upon?

***UPDATE: Picture Removed. There’s been a lot of uproar about using pictures from Google Images on blogs, so, I’m removing them from my blog posts to be safe. Sorry. I just loved sharing all the pictures I find out on the web, but that’s just how it goes, I guess. Thanks!***

Now, it’s got pretty much everything I love about a heroine. She looks wicked-tough, has got wings, and she seems to teeter the edge of good and evil with the dark colors, intense look and the fire!

I could totally see this being a book cover, couldn’t you?

Fabulous picture, and yes! it would make a great book cover! Found you on the IWSG blog over at Alex J. Cavanaugh’s. Nice to meet you. :)) I adore your image behind your blog.

Very caps-worthy picture, I know. I would LOVE to have this as a cover someday. I happen to have a flame-thrower story……No wings, but still.

Beautiful – it truly sets your imagination spinning! I love it when I find inspirational pics on the Internet. A question: I know that quite a few writers actively search for pictures to match the images of the characters they have in their head, before or during the writing. For me, this doesn’t really work – I don’t like “embodying” my characters like that. How about you?

Hi, Linda. I’m not one to search out pictures to match my characters. I don’t want to feel confined but what I visually see. I want to construct, from my own imagination, what my characters look like. Now, after the book is written, edited and ready to “face the world” so to speak, I might seek out some images that resemble the character. Like for a book trailer or something. But that’s about it. 🙂
