• Amazing Spider-man…

My sweet hubby and I have been on a going-to-the-movies kick lately. The latest one: The Amazing Spider-man.

I can sum it up in one word.

    WOW!

I’d never even heard of the guy playing Peter Parker–his name is Andrew Garfield. I checked out how IMDb profile and it seems he’s been around a little. I just hadn’t noticed.

But now I will. He was amazing. Such versatile emotions. He ranged from funny, tough, to majorly sensitive (cries really well!)

Not to mention he’s a totally cutie. Emma Stone who played Gwen Stacy did really well, too. I’d never seen her either.

    Yes, I’m lame, I know.

I checked out her profile and she started out right here in PHOENIX!!! 🙂 But, hello, she was in HELP!

Told you I’m lame. Out of touch with things. But she’s on my radar now, too!

Great movie. Tons of gut-wrenching action and emotions. Go check it out.

Here’s the trailer if you want to see it:

  • Olympics in London

So, who’s ready for the olympics to start?

I’ve been watching some of the trials and all I can say is WOW! There are some seriously talented people out there.

I was watching the track and field one mile SPRINT. Yep, I said sprint, because holy cow, that’s what it was.

Running a mile in four minutes. That just blows my mind.

You know what, though? It also encouraged me. Seeing those finely tuned athletes doing what they love with such a passion…it inspires me with my writing, too. It reminds me to keep going. Keep focused. Keep doing what I love.
