runningOk, I’ve got a good one. My sweet hubby offered himself up with one of his funny childhood stories.

Charlie and his friends had to be creative as to how they entertained themselves growing up in a small town.

One of the chosen activities was throwing stuff at cars…

Yeah, I know what you’re thinking.

Trust me, he’s grown out of it. **smile**

Anyway, back to the funny story.

Charlie and a few of his friends were at his house. Under cover of night, they were chucking things at cars as they drove by. If he or his friends saw a breaklight beam through the darkness, they’d bolt around the house to their walkout basement and hide inside.

They’d had to bolt a few times.

Well, unbeknownst to Charlie, someone had pulled the screen shut after they’d emerged from hiding the last time…..

I bet you can tell where this is leading.

Well, they’d hurled something at a car. It stopped. They ran. Charlie was the first to reach the door and bounced right off the screen, ripping it.

Can you just picture it? ROTFL!

I guess that’s what you get for goofing around, huh?

Um, yeah, my friends and I plastered stick on “feminine hygiene” products to one of the guys cars then proceeded to cover his car in syrup…

Did I mention the car was in the church parking lot?:-)

And yes, I was in High School. I’m not that dumb anymore. Maybe in like the mall parking lot, but definately not the church *grin*

Cheryl…. AWESOME! That’s so fun. I’ve done, and it was AFTER college…yeah, I’m kinda naughty even in my old age. We hurled water balloons over the fence at my neighbors. They were lounging around by the pool.

Ok, I’ll be honest, it was just two summers ago. **smile**

My naughtiness involved hurling water balloons off the roof of my boyfriend’s house. Oh, yeah, he was up there, too. In fact, it was his idea. We were about 16 and old enough to know better, but his younger brother and his friends made such nice targets…
    *LOL*

Funny story, and that picture of the running men sure is funny!

A couple of real newspaper ads I found :
For sale, Hope Chest, brand new, half off, long story.
Help wanted, singer for rock band. Must be female or male.
Braille dictionary for sale. Must see to appreciate.

I thought they were funny – but Charlie hitting the screen? LOL

Bill and Travis—yeah…what is it about throwing things at cars? Charlie, my hubby, snuck out and did that a lot when he was younger. Lucky he didn’t get caught, his britches would have been smoking too, I think. 🙂
