In line with our 80s week, I found a few funny jokes from the 80s or related to the 80s. Do you know the answers???

1: What did Michael Jackson do when his hair caught fire?

2: Where did the cantaloupe take his vacation?

3: What do you call a Yugo station wagon?

4: What do you call Pac-Man on drugs?

What are some funnies from the 80s that you remember?

Oh, and I’ll post the answers to these questions later today…if you’re curious.

I don’t know any of the answers, but it’s been fun. I love the ’80’s.
Back in the day, I bought a Yugo brand new and drove it! It ran great, just things like the door handles, window rollers, etc popped off! LOL It was a fun car.

Rosslyn — did you know that Andrew Ridgley is actually married to one of the former members of Bananarama? It’s true. Or at least they were a few years back.

The funniest thing from the mid-80s is the fact that I had a huge crush on George Michael and never wondered why he and Andrew Ridgely were all squished together on the cover of Make It Big.

I know I’ve heard all of these before, but I can’t remember any of the answers. The Yugo station wagon makes me laugh, though.

About 15 years ago, my husband and I went out with a friend and his girlfriend. We pulled into their apartment complex, and there was a Yugo sitting in the parking lot. It had some serious issues. . . chipping paint, dented up, one side sat higher than the other, two of the tires were donut replacements. It looked like someone abandoned it. My husband started laughing when he saw it and said, “A Yugo? I didn’t even know any of those pieces of junk were still drivable.”

Our friend’s girlfriend said, “Yeah, that’s my car.”

    Open mouth, insert foot.

    Great blog this week, Lynn!
