I Swear…

Today was pretty awesome. I got to witness 65 people become US Citizens! And one of them was my step-mom. I call her Mum since she is from England, and she’s been part of the family for more than 20 years, so yeah, she’s a Mum for sure.

She’s a pretty amazing woman who’s faced off with and crushed cancer of the spine that paralyzed her for a bit. Prior to the cancer she’d run 20+ marathons, and since then she’s remained active and is super active in the Young Life program up in Sedona, AZ.

She’s a hero. It was an honor to be there for her and my dad for her swearing in.
