MUSICAL MONDAYS–week of love
Until the End of Time, by Foreigner
***
This week’s posts will be dedicated to LOVE. You may be asking, “But Valentine’s Day has already passed, what are you doing?”
True, true. It has passed. But everyone did love posts last week, I didn’t want to blend in. See, I’m a rebel that way… **LOL**
So, I chose Until the End of Time because it is near and dear to my heart.
It was the song my sweet hubby and I danced to at our wedding reception. Our “first song” —ahhhhh—
I didn’t post the video because it really doesn’t represent how I view the song. Feel free to check it out yourself if you want, but the lyrics mean something different to us (me and my hubby).
Specifically,
“Never will I lose this heart’s desire. Ever will I feel your love’s fire only when I know that you’ll be mine until the end of time.”
And,
“And when I see the light of live shine in your eyes when they meet mine, only then I’ll know it’s you and I until the end of time.”

My husband and I have “our song” as well. It’s “I Can’t Fight this Feeling.” Have you seen the card commerical using the song?! It’s so cute! I get such a kick evertime they show it. 🙂

Alison—OH, Chicago. I LOVE Chicago! He’s got such a great voice. I can’t even stand it! Harry Connick, JR. I saw him in concert once, he’s so talented.

P.S. Or Chicago!

Ooooh, too many to name. In general almost anything by Norah Jones or Harry Connick, Jr. is great. I’m also a sucker for 80s ballads like “Can’t Fight This Feeling” or “Every Time You Go Away.”

I’ll go old school and say anything by Sinatra. Sort of hard to beat that, at least as far as I’m concerned.
