Olympics in London
I’ve been watching some of the trials and all I can say is WOW! There are some seriously talented people out there.
I was watching the track and field one mile SPRINT. Yep, I said sprint, because holy cow, that’s what it was.
Running a mile in four minutes. That just blows my mind.
You know what, though? It also encouraged me. Seeing those finely tuned athletes doing what they love with such a passion…it inspires me with my writing, too. It reminds me to keep going. Keep focused. Keep doing what I love.

Where do you find your inspiration to keep on doing what you’re doing?

You know what, I’m trying to figure that one out. I’m sort of in a funk right now writing wise, and when you’re in that place, it’s hard to remember what’s inspirational. I do keep folders of pics that spark ideas or sentences, and I’ll look through those. And, seeing authors who are successful makes me want to try harder. Okay, I guess it wasn’t so hard to figure out 🙂

I can run a mile in six minutes. On a treadmill. Yeah, that’s not very fast, is it?
