Point of view #TheRunningWriter

Not everything is as it seems. From the picture above it looks like I pushed my sweet hubby in. Right?

We were actually trying to get side by side to take a fun picture while on the paddle boards, instead we got this.

And I can’t stop laughing at it. Just makes me smile.

But my point is, not everything is always as it seems. When family or friends brush you off, or someone cuts you off as you’re driving down the street, etc. We might not know what’s going on in that person’s life.

I’m not always successful at this, but I try to remember that the person who just cut me off or offended me may not have tried to. They may just be hurting. Or maybe they cut me off because he/she is rushing to the hospital because a loved one just got admitted.

Now, if a loved one continuously is treating you poorly, that’s a different post all together…but otherwise, next time you’re hurt by someone, cut off in traffic, etc., try to remember, they may be hurting at that very moment.
