If you get stuck on the miseries in life, it can drag you down.
Some people might argue that focusing on the beauty is just a way to push down the bad. That it can be bad to do that.
Yeah, denial and stuffing feelings down can be harmful. But so is looking for, finding, and focusing on the bad stuff going on in each day/situation.
It’s all about balance.
When I’m overwhelmed or anxious about the bad stuff happening in my life, remembering the beauty, or good things, helps me through. Kind of renews my strength to persevere.
