When I was thinking of running my first marathon, I was scared I wouldn’t make it.
But with each training run I completed, each a little longer than the previous one, it helped.
I kind of view each completed training run as a dike of courage, like the quote says.
If you break a big goal down to many little ones, I think it really helps.
