Reality hit me between the eyes yesterday and today, and I suspect by this Sunday, my actual last day of work, I’ll shed some tears (of happiness) as I step into the next adventure of my life: Writing full time and helping my sweet hubby run Cadence Performance Coaching.

The picture above is of my weekday bookstore volunteer team. I’ve been with these guys for more than nine years. Living life, facing struggles, successes, and now, retirement. It’s been a great ride with them and I love them dearly.

This weekend I’ll say goodbye to my weekend bookstore and coffee shop volunteers and the staff I’ve served alongside for more than 9 years. It’s hard to think that much time has gone by, and it’s hard to put how I’m feeling into words, despite my being a writer! LOL.

Maybe I’ll write a novel about it…as long as I can make one of the characters a vampire, right?

I’m thankful for every day I’ve been able to serve at my job. It’s been an honor and a privilege.

**Your greatest SETBACK could lead to your greatest COMEBACK**

I heard that phrase at church this past weekend and it really encouraged me. I hope it can encourage you, too.

No matter what we’ve done–the good, the bad, the ugly–it can used to fuel our greatest comeback from our low points.

Hang in there, my friends. You are strong! You can use whatever you’re dealing with right now and let it be the start to an amazing comeback.
