This song has kinda rocked my world lately. I found out about The Afters from a friend I met at the ACFW conference.
I’m hooked.

I listen to some songs just because they’re fun. You know? Like, a great beat that keeps me pumping while I’m biking or runnin’. But some–well, some have those few words that truly inspire me. Or even remind me, of what’s important.
This part of the chorus did that for me in this song:

Okay, I’m loving this group. Been listening to their stuff 24/7 (must to my sweet hubby’s dismay) for a couple months, now.
Over, and over, and over….You can ask him 🙂
Anyway, this song hit a chord with me this past weekend, though. It’s about being active in our faith. At least this is how I interpret it.
They really hit me with the idea that this world, what we have today, is temporary…it’s just a minute compared to eternity.

Powerful song, isn’t it?
We are scheduled to bury my grandmother today, and during this difficult day for me, the song is comforting. Although I may not understand everything that happens in life, I will walk by faith.
I hope you enjoy it. I hope you’ll come back tomorrow to meet my sweet Grams through some pictures and fun memories.
