    Welcome to the Week of Love on Catch the Rush.

    For anyone who’s been following me this blog for any length of time knows I devote a week a year to Love–> right around my wedding anniversary.

    Me and my sweet hubby are celebrating 15 years of marriage this week (Wednesday), and I can think of nothing else more fun to blog about.

    I mean, I am a romance writer, you know? So it totally fits.

    Can you believe it’s been THIRTY years since MTV came onto the music scene? Anyone know the FIRST video they played?

    This past weekend they were celebrating thirty years of the station and I suddenly remembered a time when MTV actuallyplayedmusic…remember that?

    So, my soon-to-be eleven-year-old nephew was with us for a few days this past weekend. You can imagine the amount of junk food consumed during those four days.

    While none included Twinkies and Ho Hos, the fun times eating junk food with my nephew brought me back to when I used to eat Ho Hos and Twinkies.

    Man they were good. Okay, they still are good…But which is better?

    You all know I love P!nk. Her unique voice, the pink hair, and powerful lyrics. But Blondie, back in the day, with the black streak in her blond hair and her unique voice…she was pretty good, too.

    They each bring some unique things to the table. Blondie was edgy for her time as P!nk is edgy for this time.

    The British invasion brought us the two most popular rock groups of all time. . . both bring unique qualities to the table. I see The Beatles as the more clean cut, cute group; whereas The Rolling Stones more rebellious and dangerous. But what do you think?
