    Chasing Vines #TheRunningWriter

A woman standing in front of a vineyard. What’s on your TBR (To Be Read) list?

I’m giving this one a try:

    CHASING VINES, by Beth Moore.

God wants us to flourish. In fact, he delights in our flourishing. Life isn’t always fun, but in Christ it can always be fruitful. InChasing Vines, Beth shows us from Scripture how all of life’s concerns-the delights and the trials-matter to God. He uses all of it to help us flourish and be fruitful.

Looking through the lens of Christ’s transforming teaching in John 15, Beth gives us a panoramic view of biblical teachings on the Vine, vineyards, vine-dressing, and fruitfulness. Along the way you’ll discover why fruitfulness is so important to God-and how He can use anything that happens to us for His glory and our flourishing. Nothing is for nothing.

Join Beth on her journey of discovering what it means to chase vines and to live a life of meaning and fruitfulness.

An inspiring spiritual book for every Christian.

We’ll see how it turns out.

    Happy Reading, my friends!!

Now, back to some of my favorite Indie books: First up is Angeline Kace’s Descended by Blood. I just loved this book. Great take on Vampire. Angeline’s voice as fun and exciting Next up is Kendall, Grey’ Inhale. It’s the first in her Just Breathe Trilogy. It’s intense, exciting, and even better, Kendall’s donating all her proceeds to charity. Final one is Tara Fuller’s Perigee Moon. This book rocked! Loved the characters, the writing and the voice.

Now, there are tons more I could mention, but that post would be entirely too long. LOL.

Who are some of your favorite indie/self-pub authors out there? Do tell!

  • What are you reading?

I’m between books to read. Been locked in the editing cave, but I’m ready to come out and read something to give my brain a rest.

Let me hear what you’re reading right now, I might just head to Amazon and download it to my kindle.

  • Book Staircase…

Now, I have a one-story house, but if I could have this as a staircase, I’d go to two levels again!

How cool is this? I found it on Facebook one day (click here for where). Happy Saturday, everyone. Hope you have a super weekend!!

  • Angels. . .

There’s just something about a character who has wings. Maybe it’s my envy over the fact I’ll never be able to fly. I’ve written a few characters who have wings, and I never tire of looking for pictures to spark my imagination.

Check this one out I found on Google Images.

***UPDATE: Picture Removed. There’s been a lot of uproar about using pictures from Google Images on blogs, so, I’m removing them from my blog posts to be safe. Sorry. I just loved sharing all the pictures I find out on the web, but that’s just how it goes, I guess. Thanks!***

Love it!! Now, I’m sure she could fly with those translucent wings, but still…they sure are beautiful!

What’s your favorite story that involves angels…or winged characters??

  • The Weekend

My TBR list (To Be Read) is reaching astronomical proportions. Especially with the bunch of books I received last weekend as a prize to a contest.

There are so many good books out there to read, it’s difficult keeping up, isn’t it?

What’s next on your list to read?
