Crescent Moon Press produced another amazing cover!

    Thank you Jeannie Ruesch!

    Violet Dawn

Violet Dawn (Violet Night Trilogy, #2)-Release Date April 1st, 2013

In the darkest place, the Light shines brightest.

Emma’s love saved Jake from life as a vampire. But their happily ever after is threatened by a savage Vamp seeking retribution for destroying the Avenos Trinity of Evil.

A mysterious stranger enters the mix, coinciding with the first Vamp attack in months. Emma’s new friendship, and the suspicion and deceit surrounding it, further drives a wedge between her and Jake.

To complicate things, Emma is bitten by a Vamp with abilities no one has ever seen before, and that bite has left its mark.

A mark that might tear Jake and Emma apart forever…

What people are already saying about Violet Dawn:

“Fast-paced, action-packed, Violet Dawn is basically everything you’d want from a vampire hunter novel and then some. Emma has kick-ass written all over her.” ~Kate Evangelista, author of Taste

“Rush knocked this sequel out of the park.” ~Carrie Butler, author of Strength

“With non-stop action, mystery, intrigue, and suspense, along with a nice dose of romance, a little steam, a kick-ass heroine and a hero who deserves her, Lynn Rush’s Violet Dawn is a page-turning must-read. I’ve fallen head over boots for Emma and Jake as a couple-and as an elite vampire-hunting team-and impatiently wait for the last installment to see how it all turns out for them.” ~Kristie Cook, author of the best-selling Soul Savers Series

  • New Books…

There are a few new releases out there today. A couple caught my eye…

    Endgame, by Ann Aguirre.

Sirantha Jax has the J-gene, which permits her to “jump” faster-than-light ships through grimspace. She loves nothing more than that rush, but the star roads have to wait…

Her final mission takes her to La’heng, a planet subjugated during first contact. Since then, the La’hengrin homeworld has been occupied by foreign conquerors.

    All that’s about to change.

Now, as part of a grassroots resistance, Jax means to liberate the La’hengrin. But political intrigue and guerrilla warfare are new to her, and this will be the most dangerous game she’s ever played-spies and conspiracies, a war of weapons and hearts, and not everyone is guaranteed to make it out alive…

I’ve not read any of her books, but this one looks pretty good.

And I love that cover. Any chick kicking butt catches my attention! LOL

    Inbetween by Tara Fuller.

Since the car crash that took her father’s life three years ago, Emma’s life has been a freaky – and unending – lesson in caution. Surviving “accidents” has taken priority over being a normal seventeen-year-old, so Emma spends her days taking pictures of life instead of living it. Falling in love with a boy was never part of the plan. Falling for a reaper who makes her chest ache and her head spin? Not an option.

It’s not easy being dead, especially for a reaper in love with a girl fate has put on his list not once, but twice. Finn’s fellow reapers give him hell about spending time with Emma, but Finn couldn’t let her die before, and he’s not about to let her die now. He will protect the girl he loves from the evil he accidentally unleashed, even if it means sacrificing the only thing he has left…his soul.

She was on the blog last week as a part of her virtual book tour.

It’s release day for her today and I’m super excited. Love that cover. I have a copy of the book on my Kindle just begging to be read.

Now, I just have to find time between the edits. LOL

  • Check this blog out…

The New Adult category of adult fiction is taking the world by storm lately. During my virtual book tour for AWAITED I was asked about it quite a few times.

But did you know there’s a blog dedicated to it?

It’s really well put together. Fun topics and several great writers running it. I love their tag line: Bridging the gap between YA and Adult Fiction. That’s spot on.

    Great work, you guys!

So, click now and go check that site out.

What are some awesome sites you’ve found lately? Do tell. I’m always on the look out for new and fun places to hang.

  • Thank You!

Now that you all have it in your pretty little hands, be sure to post reviews and click “likes” on Amazon–er–everywhere, LOL! That helps spread the word.

It’s my book trailer. DM Productions did a GREAT job on that, didn’t they? I just love it. Catches the edgy vibe Awaited has.

Are we ready to do this all again next week?

    *****I’m not kidding******

Prelude to Darkness, a Wasteland short story releases next week.

    YAY!!!

It’s a Kindle-only single. For only 99-cents! Super excited. You get to see a little bit about David’s mom and why/how she sold his soul.
