#TheRunningWriter 31-mile adventure

Crown King was AMAZING. So very difficult, but so very rewarding. Below is a little video I made of the adventure. It’s quite obvious I’m not a great tech-type person, but just enough to make these little things for me to remember for always. Below the video is my full race report in case you want more details….HUGE thanks to everyone who donated to my fundraiser. You guys just blew me away with your generosity, raising $2400.00!! And I still have one more event to go for fundraising–> THE BOSTON MARATHON….in three short weeks.  🙂 https://youtu.be/Hnv14V1Rf5g. RACE REPORT: I couldn’t[…]

I’ve got a racing mascot

Thanks to a friend and all her creativity, I have a new racing mascot. Check it out: Isn’t that the sweetest thing EVER? Anyone who knows me, or watches my social media, knows I love stuffed animals. They just make me smile. Well, I have a 20-miler race tomorrow: The 4 Peaks Challenge, and I know this little cutie will be with me at the start…maybe not during the run, but before and after!! The Running Writer

This blog sure has seen some writing and running adventures, over the years, huh? I’m blessed to be able to run some pretty beautiful trails whenever I want. Which means I get to witness some breathtaking Arizona sunrises and share them with you! I’m actually starting to be known as the running writer….and that’s totally fine with me. If I can inspire just one person to go for their dreams, I’m a happy camper. ❤️ You’ve probably seen my #IRun4MarySue images on social media lately. Stay tuned for more details on that, but a peek into what’s up is that as I have[…]

Watcher of the Realms Chapter 34

The FINAL chapter…. Chapter 34 “Here’s to surviving The King,” Hope said, raising her glass of soda. “And creaming the Cyclones!” I joined her and so did the rest of my family. Watcher of the Realms Chapter 29

You’ve entered the world of The Realm Jumpers. The adventure with Riley and his trusty gang continues… Chapter 29 “Sendew!” Someone yelled. Sendew released his hold on me, and I almost fell to the ground again. I didn’t feel too good. Mostly weak and tired. And my mouth was suddenly super dry, like I hadn’t drunk a drop of water during an entire soccer match. Another set of hands grabbed onto me. One of the shooters held me up. None too gently, either. Sendew embraced the woman I’d seen in my mind. She was different, though. Her hair had a[…]
