The Running Writer

This blog sure has seen some writing and running adventures, over the years, huh?

I’m blessed to be able to run some pretty beautiful trails whenever I want. Which means I get to witness some breathtaking Arizona sunrises and share them with you!

I’m actually starting to be known as the running writer….and that’s totally fine with me.

If I can inspire just one person to go for their dreams, I’m a happy camper. ❤️

You’ve probably seen my #IRun4MarySue images on social media lately.

Stay tuned for more details on that, but a peek into what’s up is that as I have been sponsored by The Seymour Agency do an adventure in Mary Sue Seymour’s name. She was the founder of The Seymour Agency and died of cancer last year, so, needless to say, this is quite an honor for me. She was an amazing lady!

So, this year, as I chronicle my road to the Boston Marathon (April 2018), I’ll be raising money in her name. I hope you’ll consider joining me on this amazing and meaningful adventure.

Stay tuned for more details–they’ll be coming soon!

Thanks for all your support during my crazy writing and running adventures.

Four Word Interview—Fynn McKenna

Hey, everyone. Emma here again with another edition of the Four Word Interview.

This time we have Fynn McKenna. Kendall Grey writes his story in END, which comes out December 21st Now, I’ve been lucky enough to have a sneak peak at this story. I can’t tell you how, because I’d have to kill you—and I do enough killing with all the Vamp action going around here on campus—so I’ll keep my mouth shut.

But the really interesting thing…ALL The proceeds go to St. Jude’s.

How freaking cool is that?

So…let’s meet Fynn:

Emma Martin: Favorite time of day….

Fynn McKenna: Just before dawn breaks.

EM:   Fondest childhood memory is . . .

FM: Wrestling with my dog.

EM:   Favorite food to eat . . .

FM: My wife’s spiced potatoes.

EM:  If granted one wish. . .

FM: I wouldn’t have left.

Okay. I know you’re crushing on Fynn now. I mean, who wouldn’t swoon over a man who loves hanging out with his dog and admits on the internet for all to see that he loves his wife’s cooking?

I have to admit, even though I don’t eat anymore, spiced potatoes does sound interesting…

Hey, guess what? Kendall says she’ll give away an e-book copy of END to a random commenter (remember, it doesn’t come out until 12/21/11, though). All you have to do is leave a comment and you’re entered. We’ll keep it open until Friday Night (12/9/11 Midnight EST) and announce the winner over the weekend.

Thanks for swinging by.
