    Have you guys heard of NaNoWriMo?

    Well, I’m kinda toying with the idea of writing book three to Emma’s story. I’ve got the first two done:

    Violet Midnight and Violet Dawn

    I have some ideas sparking to life in my head about the third book, so I’m thinking I’ll try it for NaNo, but, I need a title.

    I mean, I don’t NEED NEED a title to do NaNo, but it’s nice to have something to type in next to what I’m working on.

    CLICK HERE for a brief description of Violet Midnight. That might help.

    I obviously want to try and keep violet in the title somewhere, and I have a few ideas written down (like, Violet Moon or Violet Night,) but I wanted to hear from you guys.

    Any ideas?

    I’d love to hear them.

  • Happy Weekend

    Here’s a fantastic picture from Lake Pleasant. I took this one last weekend. I can just never get enough of watching the sun rise. We got there especially early this past weekend, so I got to see the very beginnings of it.

    ***Hey, if you missed it, CLICK HERE to go see my interview on Robin’s Nest. Robin Prater interviewed me and it’s posted!***

    You’ve heard me say it before, “This writing-thing is a journey, hang on for the ride.”

    Well, here’s a neat little thing in that journey. . .

    Within the last month or two, biographies of all the TribeLit authors were put up on the agency website. Now, I know I’ve hadCari Foulk as my agent since January, but I look at my bio on theTribe site and still think, “Oh my gosh, I have an agent . . . .”

    CLICK HERE to check it out. Feel free to leave a comment, too, that’d be pretty cool!

    You guys have shared the journey with me from the beginning, so it’s fun to be able to share this excitement with you.

    Where are you in your journey?

  • Make me Laugh

    ~~~
    Tomorrow is your last day to enter to win a $25.00 gift card. All you have to do is make me laugh.
    While I was in England and France, my character, Mandy, from Frostbite, announced a little contest.
    So far the entries are funny. So, give it a shot, you might win a gift card if you make me laugh hard enough….
  • Write On
    Okay, so, if you have been checkin’ out Facebook over the last couple weeks, you might know that I recently returned from a trip to England and France.
    My characters hosted the blog for the time I was gone. Looked like they had a bit of fun while I was gone.
    Well, I got home last Wednesday–well, it was late enough to technically be early Thursday morning.
    I’d never experienced Jet Lag before.
    Have you?
    It’s NOT fun. I woke up at 2:30 in the morning on Friday thinking it was, like, ten in the morning and I was to be up and ready for the day.
    Yeah, not so much.
    But, I did get a bit of a story idea as I sat in bet reviewing the previous week’s adventures globe trotting.
    So, I got up and started writing.
    By the end of the weekend, I had over 40,000 words done on Morgan and Tanner’s story.
    I guess jet lag can come in handy, huh?
    OH, and if you’re interested, here’s a little video I shot from my camera at the Eiffel Tower lighting. It was a great time.
