THEN AND NOW THURSDAYS

Have you ever sat and reminisced about what was popular when you were a kid? Well…. “Then and Now” Thursdays is right up your alley.

Winona Rider. How could I not like her–she was born in Minnesota. Yep, Winona, MN.

Crazy small world.

Lucas MovieHer first Major film was: Lucas 1986.

Did you see it?

Remember Cory Haim….LOL.

I just remember that HUGE helmet on his tiny head.

HeathersI never saw Heathers,

but I loved Lucas.

Oh, man, that movie cracked me up.

winona 2009And now, I hear Winona is in Star Trek.

KM: Oh, I love Deeds. That is a great movie. So funny. Oh, and yeah, you have to see Terminator, It’s soooo awesome.

Kat: Oh, yeah. I liked Beetlejuice too. Not my fav, but it was pretty good. Maybe I’ll have to check out Heathers after all. LOL.

I’m so wanting to see Star Trek.

I’m with you Tracy. I love Lea Thompson. She’s always been one of my favorites.

I can’t believe you haven’t seen Heathers, Lynn. Oh my goodness. The language is horrible, but the movie is . . . well, it’s dark, and Christian Slater, well, he was so hot back in the day.

Heathers was by far my favorite Wynona Ryder movie, but Beetlejuice is a close second.

    Haven’t seen Star Trek yet.

I felt the same way when I saw her as Spock’s mom 🙂 Kinda surreal. I liked Winona in Mr. Deeds. . .one of the funniest/warmest movies!

Star Trek is great! You’ll love it. I want to see Terminator now. . .:)

Oh yeah, Lea Thompson. She’s from MN? Sweet! Can’t beat those Minnesotans, right? Some Kind of Wonderful…now that’s a sweet movie.

For some reason, I was never fond of Winona Ryder – she always seemed to high-strung for me. Back in the day, I always like LeaThompson (who by the way, is also from MN). Remember Red Dawn, Some Kind of Wonderful and of course, the Back to the Future movies? Good times… 🙂
