THEN AND NOW THURSDAYS
Have you ever sat and reminisced about what was popular when you were a kid? Well…. “Then and Now” Thursdays is right up your alley.
Remember cartoons, back in the day? Like the Smurfs, for instance.

The sweet, grainy cartoons we shot out of bed early on Saturday mornings to watch. I’d cuddle up in my long, frilly nightgown and nibble on my soggy Cap’n Crunch.
Have you noticed the change in quality over the years? Now, the cartoons are so realistic, it’s sometimes difficult to even tell they are animation.

Ohhhhhhh, Scooby Doo! Don’t forget Scrappy Too!!!! Kat, it’s nice to know where your inspiration for Heather came. Very interesting.

Jem. She was truly outrageous. I had such a crush on her boyfriend, Rio. Wow. Just thinkin’ about him….Hmmmmmmm… (Jem was a big inspiration for Heather, my MC.)
I really liked Bugs Bunny, too. I especially loved the Rabbit of Seville with Elmer Fudd.
And Capt. Caveman. Zowie Wowie Teen Angels!
Oh, and you definitely can’t forget Scooby Doo! Where are You? (The very first episodes.)
I’m such a cartoon junkie I could go on all day long. I’m still a cartoon fan. I love Veggie Tales and The Simpsons.
