Writing is a journey, one I truly love and enjoy, but it can sometimes feel rather lonely. Hour after hour, alone, at the computer, pouring your heart and soul into each word. But I’ve learned I’m not alone, in fact, I’ve been blessed to be in contact with some amazing people, both writers and non-writers.
I want to share a bit of that with you. Each week I’ll be spotlighting someone I’ve come in contact with during my journey. Thanks for stepping along side of me—all of you—during this exciting time!
I met Heather at a writer’s conference a couple of years ago. It was a small conference so we got to know the people attending pretty well. Heather and I really hit it off.
She’s such a fun, encouraging and energetic person. Not to mention a great writer. We spent quite a few hours on that last day of the conference hanging out in a coffeeshop writing.
The conference was great, yes, but I think meeting Heather was a major part of the reason why I enjoyed the conference so much.
I’m so glad I met you, Heather. I know we’ll stay in touch for years to come!
And remember…”Did you hear that?”
