Top Five Funnies. . .

So, we’re counting down the top five funny people who came from Saturday Night Live. . . There were  a bunch, but we picked our favorite top ones. . .

Today is number three. . . Mike Myers.

He’s had quite a few fun characters, but Wayne’s World was pretty popular. I couldn’t find this entire clip, but here’s a little snippet:

[youtube= :]

Or how ’bout Sprockets:

He went on to do the Austin Powers movies, too. Remember Dr. Evil’s evil laugh?

Here’s the Austin Powers movie trailer. It just makes me chuckle

Who are some of your faves? Any guesses as to who I’ll pick for #1?

  1. Didn’t Mike do “Coffee Talk”? Loved that bit. Yeah, he’s so talented. Wayne’s World – part of the scrapbook of my growing up – thanks to them, I was obsessed with the Bohemian Rhapsody for a while. Happy Wednesday!

  2. I love Mike Meyers! I sometimes forget he was on SNL because he’s had so many great characters since those days. If I had to pick a favorite Mike Meyers movie, it would probably be So I Married An Axe Murderer. I loved when he plays his own father. Great, funny movie! And who could ever forget Wayne’s World? Extreme close-up! Whoaaaaa!

  3. My son wanted to know why Shrek was talking. LOL. He heard the voice, looked at the video and was confused. 🙂
    Thanks for sharing. This was a great way to start the day. LOVE Mike Myers. He’s a hoot.
