Without a Trace

Ok, you’ve got to check this book out.

Without a Trace, by Colleen Coble.

Back Cover Blurb:

When a plane crash claims her husband and son, Bree Nichols and Samson, her search-and-rescue dog, won’t rest until they recover the bodies. But quiet Rock Harbor is shaken by a violent crime, and Bree discovers links to her husband’s fatal accident. Would solving this crime bring her peace—or more incredibly, reunite her family?

My Review:

This was the first book I’ve read of Colleen Coble’s. I’ll be reading more, that’s for sure. I love her subtle romance and intense suspense. I couldn’t put this book down.

The fact that she had a dog in this book was perfect.  I love great stories with great animals. And the life of a search and rescue dog, even more intriguing if you ask me.

Now, it’s not ALL about the dog. But it was a nice touch. Bree Nichols’ struggles are so real and her emotions tugged at my heart strings. I love that in a book.

What are some good books you’re reading or have read lately?

  1. Hi Lynn,

I just read “Quaker Summer” by Lisa Samson. Her writing astounds me with how gorgeous it is. I liked the book, definitely worth the time investment.

    Have a great Wednesday!

  2. Just finished reading ‘How Tough Could It Be?’ by Austin Murphy
It is about a sportswriter who decides to switch places with his wife for 6 months. He became the stay-at-home parent while she pursued her writing career. Some places made me laugh out loud…very funny, well written and hard to put down. I highly recommend it!
Also, finished ‘The Shack’ by WM Paul Young. A very unique and thought provoking narrative about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I highly recommend this one too.
I am adding Colleen Coble to my list of books to read.
    Peace and Blessings…

  3. Good morning!! Colleen Coble is a great author. I finished #3 in the Twilight series and am waiting a little to read Breaking Dawn.
My dad asked me to read a classic—The Virginian…so I’m doing that. Very different. Interesting though. After The Virginian and Breaking Dawn I’m hoping to read my book because it will be finished…….
Got to get working on that.
