• Sunset from CT

    Check this out….

    Got this from Lindsay Downs earlier this week. What a fantastic picture huh? Anyone else have a pic they want to share? I’d love to see it. Just email me at lynnrush @ cox . net (without the spaces) and I’ll put it up. Love me some sunsets!

  • Sunset from a plane…

    Holy cow, it’s October today. It’s just crazy-insane how fast time passes. At least it means that soon I’ll be able to sit out on my patio soon to write. And with NaNoWriMo coming in November…that’s a good thing.

    I just had to share these pictures I took from the plane. I was on my way home from my two-week Iowa trip.

    Those are from my window seat on the plane!

    Now sunrises are my favorite, but these sunset pictures from such high altitude are pretty sweet!

    Have a FANTASTIC WEEKEND!

    Monday’s the day I’ll announce the Wasteland Blog Tour grand prize winner, so stay tuned!

  • Beauty…

    If you’ve been following this blog any length of time, you know I’m addicted to pictures of sunrises and sunsets.

    They’re just something about them that makes me smile. So, I was “flipping” through my photo albums (on iPhoto) and found a few to share.

    View of sunset from my driveway!

    Sunrise from Thunderbird Trail

    Another from Thunderbird...I run this trail once per week!

    ~~~~~
    Our days fill up so quickly with places to be, people to see, and things to do, I hope you find some time this weekend to slow down and witness a sunrise or sunset. If you snap a picture, post the link here and I’ll go check it out!
  • Sedona Sunset
    You know I love sunrises — I post pictures of them enough between here and Facebook. But I love sunsets, too.
    So, I have one for ya here. I took this one from my dad’s backyard in Sedona, AZ.
    Sedona is one of my favorite places to visit. Not just because it’s where my dad lives, but also for its inspiring beauty. I’ve written many thousands of words up there while looking upon this beauty.
    I hope you all have a great weekend and get to take some time to enjoy a nice sunrise or sunset!
    See you Monday.
  • Weekend photo
    I love livin’ in the desert. First, I love the heat. Yep, I don’t mind the 110+ degree weather. Of course, I’ve only been living here going on six years, so maybe in a few more I’ll be singing a different tune. But for now. I love it.
    Second. I love all the cactus everywhere. Pair that with my love of sunsets…it makes for some pretty sweet photo opportunities. While I’ve taken tons of pictures of sunsets and cactus…I found this one on Photobucket.
    I love the variations of colors and that the cactus looks black!! Such beauty can be found in the dry desert. I never would have imagined.
    I hope you all have a great weekend and find some time to slow down and witness a fantastic sunrise or sunset!
