What’d you do for Memorial Day yesterday?
Me and my sweet hubby just sat around. It was so nice. No pressure. No “I have to get such and such done…”
Felt nice. It was a gentle reminder that I need to stop and smell the roses once in a while.
When’s the last time you stopped and smelled the roses?
I’m glad you had a day to kick back and relax. It seems whenever I have that opportunity, I can’t make myself sit still. I’m always thinking of something that needs to be done. I’m working on it though. : ) Happy Tuesday!
Hi, Lynn. Tag, your it. I told Ciara I’d let you know. Hit her blog at http://www.ciaraknight.com.
Thanks, Gaby. I read the post. That was awesome!
Great photo, Lynn!! We relaxed as well. Son came home from Boca Raton so I enjoyed time with him. I also finished the frst draft of my latest WIP!!!!
NICE. Yay. Congrats on finishing a first draft. That’s awesome!
Didn’t do as much as I wanted but did get a blog post/contest written for my book release tomorrow
Yay! That’s awesome, Lindsay. Woot!
Ha! I finished a first draft yesterday–had a MAD writing weekend, which is exactly what I wanted to be doing. I did part of it by my neighbors pool and there was something that smelled fabulous there, too. (I think the bush behind me)
Glad you got some down time!
MAD writing weekend. That sounds awesome! I work on the weekends, so my MAD writing time usually comes during the week. 🙂 I did enjoy the down time for sure!
We did not have a holiday here in Canada so it was a normal day of work…
Ahhh. Hope you had a great day, though!
I worked yesterday, so I didn’t get to enjoy the roses, but I love it when I have nothing pressing to do and can just relax. I’m glad you were able to do that yesterday!
Oh, bummer. Yeah, I don’t have many days that I allow myself to just veg. I need to “schedule” those in more often.
Let me see, husband + 3 boys + dog + writing + house work = 13+ years ago. 🙂 I’m glad you had a great day with hubby.
LOL. 13 years ago…Oh man….
