• Name that movie. . . .

    ~~~
    1. So, why do you call them ‘The Sons of Ipswich’? What are they, like a boy band?
    2.Let us pray. Heavenly Father, please bless Chaz with game IMMEDIATELY.
    3.Twinkies and wine? Oh, that’s real class, Jan.
    4.Velcro. Next to the Walkman and tab it is the coolest invention of the 20th century!
  • Musical Monday
    Here’s an interesting one to start off your Monday. . .
    Promises Promises, by Naked Eyes
    They wouldn’t let me embed the video, though, so here is the link in case you want to see the classic video: CLICK HERE
    Talk about a classic 80s video.
    Hope you have a great Monday.
    I’m going to be resting up from my 10-mile run yesterday. Sore muscles have me walking a bit stiff . . .
    But it was worth it. Had great fun. I’m sure I’ll be posting pictures later this week. . . so stay tuned.
  • Throwback Thursday
    This past weekend we signed up for Netflix and with certain movies you can stream them right to your computer. Guess what the first one my sweet hubby chose to download?
    Swamp Thing . . .
    I seriously had to just sit there and laugh through the entire thing. Did you ever see this? If you want a nice chuckle, you should check it out . . .
    Happy FRIDAY EVE, everyone!
  • Musical Monday–Goonie Style
    Had to go with a classic today:
    The Goonie’s Theme Song:
    Okay, Cyndi Lauper is just awesome, you know? Classic 80s back then with the funky hair, crazy dressing . . . But she’s got a voice! That movie, though, what a classic. I watch that any time it’s on TV. Such a cute story.
    So, are you a Goonie?
  • Pet Sematary
    Okay, we’re at number TWO of the top five scary movies . . . So far we’ve counted down the following:
    #5 Amityville Horror
    #4 Nightmare on Elm Street
    #3 The Shining
    And, today. . . the number TWO rank goes to:
    Pet Sematary
    ~~~

    Yeah, I’d say Stephen King is the KING OF HORROR. Jeez, the amount of jumping-out-at-you-scary in this movie was enough to give me a heart attack. The close ups on the faces and the wide eyes. . . **shiver**

    **What’d you think about Pet Sematary?**

  • The Shining

    Day three on the five days of scary movies.

    It’s been a spooky week so far, and it’s about to get worse with our number 3 movie. . . .

    ~~~
    The Shining
    ~~~

    Yikes. Can we say REDRUM?

    **shiver**

    Oh, man, those stares Jack Nicholson throws at the camera. . . Holy-freaking-cow. And the trademark face in the slightly open doorway.

    This movie almost made it to the number one spot . . . . . .

    What’d you think of The Shining?

    And if you’ve missed the previous ones, here they are:

    #5 was Amityville Horror

    #4 was Nightmare on Elm Street
