Stood up for the third New Year’s Eve in a row, Jasmine, throws caution to the wind and sheds her thick glasses, musses her hair, then roams onto the dance floor to find a guy to kiss at the stroke of midnight. Without her lenses, she’s legally blind, and mistakenly grabs her big brother’s best friend.
Jalen’s loved Jasmine for as long as he can remember, but she’s his best friend’s little sister and totally off limits-until she plants a whopper of a kiss on him New Year’s Eve. Fireworks spark between them, and he knows things will never be the same. Even if it means facing off with his best friend, Jalen is done watching from the sidelines.

It’s hard to believe that a story I wrote for the Share the Love contest last year is still getting reads! I’m so thankful for all the fun comments and encouraging remarks you all have left on the story. This story was such a fun, sweet one to write.

Write a book on your phone #TheRunningWriter
The last couple of days, I’ve been talking about things I’ve been doing during this physical distancing requirement. Journaling, Zooming, and today…writing.
You’re shocked, I know. But this is totally new. I wrote a short story on my phone! As in typed it all with that tiny, little phone keyboard.
That was a first for me.
You’ve probably seen on my social media that it’s on the CHAPTERS Interactive Stories app on your phone. It’s called BLIND RESOLUTION.
I had a blast trying this whole Tap Tales thing out. If you want to give the story a look, I did this little video to help figure it out, because if you’re like me, Tech-Challenged, it might help.
It’s funny…I needed help figuring out how to even start my chapters. And then…well, I’ll save the embarrassing stories for later. It was comical trying to figure this app out, but I did it! Yay me!
