Friday Funnies
My father in law, RG, is a funny guy. He can come up with the funniest one-liners . . . .
Charlie and his dad, RG on our patio RG came to visit this past weekend and we went out to eat on Saturday night. We were talking about some things that had come up in earlier in the week, one of which was Charlie.
Yeah, Charlie had gotten some good news related to his job earlier in the week.
Now, Charlie has always been a hard worker and very dedicated to taking care of his family, which is pretty much me since we don’t have kids.
So, I, in all seriousness, looked at RG and thanked him for raising a son who takes such great care of me.
RG smiled and said how great that was to hear. But then, his smile widened, and he sat back in the booth and said, “Well, really, I was a lousy parent, Charlie just happened to turn out all right.”
Oh man, that had me laughing the rest of the night. Heck, I’m laughing while writing this post, and it’s several days later!

I’m not someone who ever gets lucky enough to find funny signs, or misspelled words in ads and stuff.
You know, like this:
HELL frozen over-
Yeah, I mean, someone probably just happened to drive by and notice the ice hanging from the sign and think, “OH, Hell has frozen over.” I mean, that’s funny, right?
Totally.
Well, it FINALLY happened to me.
So, I was in Tucson this past weekend visiting my mom, and she took us out to eat at the Cow Palace. THAT name, in itself, is funny, but what we found printed on the bill was even funnier:
