You have got to let yourself feel. If you’re angry, sad, and/or depressed, be angry, sad, and/or depressed. It’s ok to feel these feelings. 

The key is to not stay stuck in them.
When people try and shove these types of feelings down because they are supposedly “wrong” or “bad”, that’s when trouble happens.

We’ve got to be allowed to feel all emotions. But we’ve also got to use the tools around us to try and work through emotions that could harm us should we get stuck in them. 

Talking through issues with friends or a therapist, taking prescribed meds, making health/lifestyle changes….lots of tools out there. Do not be afraid to use them. 

Do not be afraid to ask for help.
