• Musical Monday–Week of Love

    Happy Monday!

This week on Catch the Rush, it’s all about the LOVE!

Yep, tomorrow, August 10th, marks my fourteenth year with my soul mate, Charlie! So, I’ve dedicated this week to the idea of LOVE and MARRIAGE . . . .

So….today I just have to share our song with you.

Yep, this is the song we first danced to as a married couple.

I know I’ve played this song on here before because last year on our anniversary week I shared it. But, I just had to do it again. I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of that song.

    EVER!

I was introduced to this group on KM Wilsher’s blog. She’s got rockin’ taste in music. A little bit on the hard rock side for me, but this group, she’s got me hooked!

She played Crow and Butterfly on her blog last week. I’m so glad she did. I went out and downloaded four of their songs. This one, I Dare You, has got me (along with Crow and Butterfly)

They have such a great sound. I had them playing when I did a thirty mile bike ride the other day, and it powered me up a hill!

Thanks, KM! Hope you all enjoy the song!

Do you guys have any songs to suggest for me? My playlists are getting boring!

I forget where I first heard this song, but it was just a couple weeks ago (I know, terrible memory …) Regardless,I’ve been playing this song non-stop while working on my latest WIP (Work in Progress).

I love his voice. It’s unique. The video is a little dark, much like my latest project. So, it was a good fit.

So, what songs are you listening to lately?

Okay, here’s an oldie but goodie.

Remember her hair? Shaved sides, tall spikes on top?

Oh, and the nose ring that went to her ear?

It’s a fun song, for sure. Interesting voice.

I couldn’t find anywhere that I could post the actual video. But if you want to see it, you can click here.

Do you remember that song? What’d you think?

Hi. Adrean here. Lynn writes about me and Lexi in The Mark of the Heir.

I’m glad to be here, but I think I’d rather be hopping around the globe like Lynn. She checked in with us all over the weekend and said she’s having a blast over in England. Paris is the next stop and she’s so excited.

I’m not much into country music, either, but ever since my stint in juvie, I’ve kinda been into it. The guards pretty much controlled everything, including what music could be played at what time.

I guess one of the guards had a thing for country….You’d think I’d hate it since I heard it mostly while in jail.

The first year out I hated it, but then I came around a bit.And this Lady Antebellum group is actually pretty good.

So, here you go. Enjoy Stars Tonight . . . and don’t forget to get your contest entry in. Click here for details.

See ya WEDNESDAY. I hear Lynn is making a visit on the blog tomorrow to go over the movie ECLIPSE in Cinema Sound Off. So stay tuned.

HI! Rachel here. Lynn asked me to start off the week. She’s on her way to England right now. First a flight to Philadelphia, then a zillion hour layover until they leave for England on an overnight flight.

But hey, she’s going to England right? So no complaining.

Now, Lynn wrote about my funky story in Tainted Cadence and you can pretty much guess it’s one that is near and dear to her heart because it’s about biking-with a little supernatural twist, of course.

Lynn’s known to do a lot of biking if you follow her on Twitter or Facebook at all, so it was just a matter of time before she wrote my story because of that.

Anyway, so I get to pick the song today, and I just had to pick one of my favorites.

This song has gotten me up some mega hills when I thought my legs would fail me.

I’ve Got the Power, by Snap

I know, I’m only, like twenty-one, but I heard this song on an oldies station and fell in love. I mean, it takes a lot of power climbing Headland Hill. It’s at a ten percent grade, you know?

But this song pumps me up enough to get the power in my legs to get up the monster!

What song gets your blood pumpin’?
