Saying goodbye to another trilogy….
Well, Violet Storm is here…a bit early, but here none the less. It’s a bitter sweet thing seeing the end to a trilogy. While I’m glad to see their final story release to the virtual shelves, I’m sad to say goodbye some fun characters.
I loved writing Emma and Jake. I’ve been through a lot with them on this trilogy just as they have been through a lot to finally make it to the end of their journey.
HUGE thanks to Crescent Moon Press for taking a chance on this trilogy…and on me. I think they helped launch the New Adult craze by stepping out and jumping into a new category way back in 2011 with my first trilogy (Wasteland.)
Thank you to Jeannie Ruesch for producing AMAZING covers for all of my books. I’ll treasure them forever–and even have posters of each one (well, Violet Storm is on its way!)
And thank you, readers, for supporting my books! With each purchase you not only helped me live my dream of being a published author, but you helped benefit The American Cancer Society. I’ll continue to do that through the six books I have with Crescent Moon Press.

READERS RULE!
We had this epic Twitter party planned last night at the hashtag #MAGICKED. Five authors, tons of prizes and a grand prize of a $100 gift card.
But Twitter decided to throw a glitch in the festivities. It’s pretty tough to have a Twitter party when tweets don’t go through, right?
So, FACEBOOK saved the day.
You guys followed us over to Facebook and we went on to have an amazing party. It was super fun. We had virtual drinks and ice cream and got to give away tons of prizes!

This Writer’s Journey…Juliana
Writing is a journey, one I truly love and enjoy, but it can sometimes feel rather lonely. Hour after hour alone at the computer, pouring your heart and soul into each word. I have to say, Juliana is all kinds of sweet. Always encouraging. Excited about writing and the whole New Adult Movement. It’s absolutely contagious when she smiles, emails, tweets…you name it. I new right away I loved her when I read her profile and she mentioned BUFFY.
Yeah, I’m partial to Buffyas well, but you all already knew that 🙂

I met Katrina online (surprising, I know-LOL). I can’t even remember when anymore, but I’ll tell ya, she’s a joy. This rockin’ chick LOVES books. She’s always talking up what she’s reading and is so supportive of the authors she reads.
Readers are why I write, and Katrina is a prime example of a rock star reader!! I’ve been blessed to “meet” and get to know her. Though, it’s kinda weird when she’s always Facebooking about “tomorrow” before it happens….**wink**(she’s in Australia)

Violet Storm…here we come
Wow. It’s hard to believe I hit SEND on the final edits for Violet Storm (Violet Night #3) to my Super Editor.
Two trilogies done!
When I was straightening out my book shelf the other day, I had to stop when I saw my books.I put them all out and snapped this picture. Five novels out there, the sixth on its way (June hopefully)….And yes, I pinched myself.
Stills feel like a dream sometimes. I’m excited to see what cover they come up with for the final installment of Jake and Emma’s love story.
As soon as I have it, I’ll post it for sure.
