It’s ok to shuffle sometimes.
We are a go-go-go society. If we’re not busy it almost feels weird. Like something is off.
But you know what? It’s ok to shuffle along for a bit. I actually recommend it.
Just like during ultra training. My coach works in a “step-back” week every few weeks. That means I run about 50% less than normal. I run little slower and not so hilly.
Why? So I can rest. You can’t constantly be on the go. You’ll burn out. Get injured. Family will suffer. The list could go on and on and none of it good.
Be sure to take some shuffle-time. Keep going, but slow things down a bit. You’ll stay healthier.
