Words can kill #TheRunningWriter

Words are powerful. They can uplift or they can kill. Now, I obviously don’t mean literally kill, but they sure can hurt.

Ever been knocked down by words? Told you we’re stupid, weird, unwanted, worthless? Felt like a knife stabbing your heart didn’t it?

It’s the same for others if you say those words, too.

Words can douse a spirit just like water puts out a flame.

Instead, choose your words, and your tone of voice, carefully. Encourage, don’t knock down. And if you do have to give some constructive feedback, be sure to share it in love, peppered with reminders of what they do do well.
