• Throwback Thursday…Care Bear Style

Throwing you back to 1981 this week on Throwback Thursday.

    Remember Care Bears?

Cheer Bear had a rainbow to “cheer” you up. And Wish Bear had a shooting star. Can’t forget Grumpy Bear’s rain cloud……

    They were so cute.

    Did you have one?

  • Movie Quotes…Action Style

Okay, so I reviewed Mission Impossible 4 yesterday so I had to go with the theme of action movies for quotes today.

    Give it your best shot!

    1. Hey babe, I negotiate million dollar deals for breakfast. I think I can handle this Eurotrash.

    2. What are you waiting for? You’re faster than this. Don’t think you are, know you are. Come on. Stop trying to hit me and hit me.

    3. I need a minute here. You’re telling me that this thing can imitate anything it touches?

    4. How could I forget about you? You’re the only person I know.

    5. You can relax for now. I’m not going to murder you in front of your child, okay?

    6. Death does not wait for you to be ready! Death is not considerate, or fair! And make no mistake: here, you face Death.

    7. You’ve been called the Da Vinci of our time. What do you say to that?

    8. No, you’re supposed to be suicidal, remember? I’LL drive.

    9. Why am I Pluto? It’s not even a planet anymore!

    10. It’s a matter of professional integrity! No girl wants to marry a doctor who can’t tell if a man’s dead or not!

Leave your guesses in the comments. I’ll be back later with answers.

    Now…onto the movie.

    Synopsis from IMDB

The IMF is shut down when it’s implicated in the bombing of the Kremlin, causing Ethan Hunt and his new team to go rogue to clear their organization’s name.

    My Review

Wow! I felt like I’d run a marathon after watching that movie. Then again, I LOVE ACTION. This nearly bordered on too much, but not quite. I have a HIGH level (from anyone who’s read my writing can attest…I love action!!!)

Every turn there was something blowing up, or falling, or just….something happening. It was awesome.

There were a couple of times I lost track of who was who and what was happening…in part because of the overwhelming action…but that’s okay. It wasn’t too bad at all.

    Loved this.

So…as you might guess my rating is ….

5 tickets - A must see. Buy a ticket for everyone.

Have any of you guys seen it? What are your thoughts?

Okay, head over to KM Wilsher‘s blog and see what she has to say. . .

I have a good friend who always says Happy Weekending. I just love the phrase. It’s a time to rejuvenate after a long week of work. So, I hope you rest and relax a little…and maybe take in a stunning sunset….

This picture was taken near my house one evening. Not sure the picture can do it justice, though. It was just amazing!

If you have any pictures of sunsets or sunrises, send them my way. I’ll post them!

    Have a SUPER DAY!
