Since Valentine’s Day was yesterday, and I’m a sucker for romance, I figured today’s movie stuff would be lovey-dovey.

Here we go….

I sat down at my desk and asked myself, “What are ten of my favorite love story movies.”

And this is what I came up with (no particular order):

What are some of your favorite lovey-dovey movies??

Cinema Sound Off…Breaking Dawn

Okay, I finally did it! Went and saw Breaking Dawn. And what a great movie to celebrate the return of Cinema Sound Off.

So, here goes…..

My good friend, KM Wilsher, and I are heading out to Harkins Theatres each month to watch a choice movie.

We’ll let you know if it’s worth you spending your hard-earned money or not.

Now…onto the movie.

Synopsis from IMDB:

The Quileute’s close in on expecting parents Edward and Bella, whose unborn child poses a threat to the Wolf Pack and the towns people of Forks

My Review:

Oh wow. I really liked this. When the movie release was nearing, I started wondering where they’d cut it off…and I had an idea.

I guessed it. I won’t say where in case you haven’t seen it, but it was totally predictable–BUT TOTALLY good. They ended the movie RIGHT where they needed to. Got me all ready for the next one.

This first part was really just a set up to the second part as far as I was concerned. I really got the sense of their love story, which is cool with me (I mean, I am a romance writer, you know–LOL).

This one seemed to follow the book more in my opinion.  I remember while reading the book how she jumped into Jake’s POV and I was like, wait, huh? And I could kinda tell that here in the movie, too. Smile

Compared to the other movies, the action scenes seemed better as well as the special effects.  And, wow, how they did the birth scene and stuff. Right on. I’m so excited for the next part to come out to see how they wrap everything together compared to the books.

I’ll have to give Breaking Dawn Five Tickets:

The Trailer:

Now head over to KM Wilsher‘s blog and see what she has to say about it.

Are you ready for the chaos?

Breaking Dawn releases tomorrow.

Are you ready for the chaos?

Are you ready for the Team Jacob and Team Edward madness?

I must admit, I AM. I know, you’re shaking your head right now. But if you’ve been following this blog for any length of time, you already know I’m kind of a dork, so that’s okay.

I’ve read the books. I love them. The story is awesome. The movies have been pretty good.

But I’m not crazy enough to go to a midnight showing or anything. **LOL** I’ll wait until things cool down a bit (if that’s possible the hype is so huge on this) then check it out with my BFFs.  🙂

What movie are you anxious to see?

Movie Quotes…Vampire Style

Okay, so you all know what movie is coming out soon, right? (CLICK HERE if you don’t) So…I figured we’d do a little Vampire Edition of Movie Quotes.

1. Does the word “duh” mean anything to you?

2. How did you manage to slip through the 50’s in red velvet?

3. Your body’s dying. Pay no attention, It happens to us all.

4. And so the lion fell in love with the lamb.

What are your guesses? Have any good vampire movie quotes to share?
