There’s this song by Sia called Unstoppable. When I was looking for songs to fill my 50k or Bust playlist, this one came up. I was all over it because I was facing off with a 31-mile run that climbed over 6,500 feet.
So yeah. I needed to be unstoppable.
I played it, along with many others, on that crazy 7+ hour adventure. But now that the 50k and Boston Marathon adventures are over and I was just leisurely listening to this song, I caught a few interesting phrases.
While sometimes we have to fake it til we make it when it comes to being unstoppable, we are not meant to do that all the time.
I have a few trusted girlfriends who see me cry. Who hold my hand through my life trials, and I hold their hands through their trials.
You can be unstoppable alone, but only for so long. It’s scary to be vulnerable to other people, but you’re not meant to live life alone.
Be unstoppable—with someone.
